One star actress who doesn't give media interviews is Nayanthara. She tells her producers at the start that she won't allocate dates for promotions whatever may be the pay.
Nayanthara's aversion to the media is well-documented. She was misquoted quite a few times in the past and therefore, she refrains from giving interviews. In 2020, she told Vogue that she has been "misquoted and misinterpreted" on repeat by different individuals. "It was too much for me to handle," the actress added.
Her fans believe that she could give only video interviews. In the past, text interviews were dominant. In the age of YouTube and social media, videos have taken over.
Nayanthara is participating in the promotions of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu through brief videos alongside director Anil Ravipudi. It has to be seen whether she and Chiranjeevi will bring out a short video ahead of the movie's theatrical release on January 12th.
Nayanthara is currently also doing Nandamuri Balakrishna's 111th movie and Yash's Toxic. In the latter, she has a sinister woman's role.
