Tovino Thomas’s next big-budget venture, Palli Chattambi, will be a multi-lingual release. The makers have officially unveiled the film’s motion poster.
Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, the movie is a massive period drama set against the backdrop of the 1950s and 1960s. The newly released motion poster showcases Tovino Thomas in a rugged, never-before-seen avatar.
Set in a high-octane world, the film is up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on April 9.
The film features the budding actress Kayadu Lohar, who plays the female lead. She is currently also doing Vishwak Sen's Funky.
Palli Chattambi is being produced on a lavish scale by Naufal, Brijeesh, and the trio of Chanakya, Chaitanya, and Charan under the prestigious banners of Worldwide Films and C Cube Bros Entertainments. Veteran actors Vijayaraghavan, Sudheer Karamana, and Baburaj, alongside Vinod Kedamangalam and Prashanth Alexander, are part of the cast.
The project is directed by Dijo Jose Antony based on a script penned by S. Suresh Babu. The visual language of the film is captured by cinematographer Tijo Tomy, with Dileep Nath handling production design and Sreejith Sarang in charge of editing. The musical score is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while the period-specific looks are crafted by costume designer Manjusha Radhakrishnan.
Coming back to Tovino Thomas, he is rumouredly playing a role in Jr NTR's Dragon. In 2025, Thomas had notable releases such as the crime thriller Identity, and the political action thriller Narivetta. He was seen in L2: Empuraan, the sequel to Mohanlal's Lucifer. In 2024, his prominent roles included Anweshippin Kandethum and Nadikar. His performance in films like Minnal Murali (2021) and 2018 (2023) are acclaimed.
