"The Telugu audience knows Prabhas as a great entertainer, but the Pan-Indian audience has never seen him like this before. His look and his scenes are unlike anything ever seen on the Indian screen," director Maruthi has said about Prabhas' entertainment quotient in The Raja Saab.
In a video clip, the filmmaker added that a major episode in the movie will be one-of-its-kind. "While every actor brings something new to a horror-comedy, Prabhas’s sequences are uniquely entertaining. Audiences will be talking about his specific getup, his hairstyle, and his distinct slang. He exudes pure swag; even just standing still, he commands the screen. From the way he sits in his chair to the smallest character details, this isn't just a movie—it’s an experience you won’t soon forget," he added.
The film's pre-release event is going to be held this evening. Prabhas will be present.
Sanjay Dutt will be seen in three different ages in the movie. Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar and Malavika Mohanan have prominent roles. The Raja Saab's music is by Thaman and cinematography is by Karthik Palani. The film has action choreography done by the Ram-Laxman duo and King Solomon.
The horror-comedy fantasy will head to theatres on 9 January 2026.
