Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor has officially confirmed his role in the upcoming pan-India film Dragon, starring Jr NTR and directed by Prashanth Neel (known for KGF and Salaar). This marks Anil Kapoor's second collaboration with Tarak, following their work together in the Hindi film War 2 (2025). Dragon, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and starring Rukmini Vasanth as the heroine, is described as a periodic action drama with epic scale, emotionally charged events spanning a timeline, set partly in the 1969 era around the borders of China, Bhutan, and India's Golden Triangle region.
War 2, Animal, Fighter, Jugjugg Jeeyo, The Night Manager and Savi are among Anil Kapoor's recent outings. The first of these, War 2, was fronted by Jr NTR. While Dragon will be his second film with the Nandamuri star, a third acting collaboration is also hinted at.
Anil Kapoor will be seen in Alia Bhatt's Alpha later this year. Shah Rukh Khan's King is among his other upcoming biggies.
