The countdown to Raakaasaa begins. Raakaasaa is heading to theatres on April 3.
The team, led by director Manasa Sharma, is currently hard at work "finalising the film’s edit, music, sound design, and overall visual treatment." The shoot was completed recently.
Pink Elephant Pictures and Z Studios have worked with Sangeeth Shoban and Nayan Sarika. Vijay of They Call Him OG has composed a heavy action block.
The makers hint at meticulous post-production phase, which is all part of "aligning the post-production process toward its planned theatrical release". Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal have produced the Summer release.
"Rather than revealing narrative specifics," the footage in the recent glimpse focused on the movie's unique atmosphere. It showcased a refreshing "tonal space, blending humour, fantasy elements, and moments of tension." It is clear the creators are aiming for an immersive "theatrical experience designed for the big screen." Much of this interest stems from the film's ambitious genre-bending nature.
Instead of overwhelming the public with information, the studio chose a "gradual reveal strategy." This patient method has been successful, "allowing anticipation to build organically through selective updates."
The ensemble lineup includes Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Pokiri fame Ashish Vidyardhi, and Jabardasth comedian Getup Srinu. The film also stars Sukwinder Singh, Annapurnamma, Anoop Singh Takur, Ramana Bhargav, Amrutham fame Vasu Inturi, Jabardasth Rohini, and Master Rohan from #90’s (web series). Music director Anudeep Dev, cinematographer Raju Edurolu, and editor Anwar Ali have worked on the movie. Ramanjaneyulu and Pulla Vishnu Vardhan are the production designer and art director, respectively. Sandhya Sabbavarapu is the costume designer.
