Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, hosted renowned actor Dr. Rajendra Prasad for a courtesy meeting on Tuesday evening. The meeting served as a formal occasion for the state to recognize the actor’s recent selection for the prestigious Padma Shri award by the Government of India.
During the visit, the CM warmly received the actor, popularly known by the title "Nata Kireeti," and performed a traditional felicitation. The Chief Minister extended his congratulations, remarking that the national honor is a well-deserved tribute to the versatile actor's expansive career and artistic legacy. Naidu highlighted the actor’s four-decade journey in the film industry, noting that his versatile performances have not only entertained millions but have also elevated the pride and stature of Telugu cinema on a national scale.
The interaction concluded with the Chief Minister reiterating the government’s appreciation for Rajendra Prasad’s cultural contributions.
