Actress Bhumika Chawla, speaking a day ahead of the theatrical release of Euphoria, said that the film is quite courageous. She urged the audience to watch it in theatres on February 6.
"There is a great deal of risk involved in such films. Gunasekhar garu and his family embraced the risk. Euphoria is haunting, and gave me a sleepless night. Prithvi, Likhitha, and Vignesh have all delivered outstanding performances. Even after so many years in my career, I strongly believe there is still so much for me to learn," the Kushi and Okkadu actress added.
Sensational Director Gunasekhar's speech was interesting. He revealed that those who have watched Euphoria feel that it is such a powerful story made on a grand scale. "They feel it is not an ordinary thing to make a film of this sort with mostly newcomers. I entered the film industry in 1992 with the film Laathi. This is just my 14th film. I am as excited today as I was before. I value the audience's time, their money, and their intelligence. Sara Arjun's character is the soul of this story. After watching the movie, the audience will understand why I decided to go ahead with the project only after she accepted the story. Bhoomika is the backbone of this film. She is a very strong person, but this is the first time I have seen her become so emotional, and the first time I have seen her like this on screen. She truly lived the character of Vindhya Vemulapalli. I made this film focusing on themes like adolescence, parenting, and social impact. I didn’t make it using my intellect alone, but by looking at society as a common man," he said, adding that Euphoria is based on certain true incidents.
Producer Neelima Guna described Euphoria as a message-oriented film. "All those who have watched the movie so far have appreciated how a fresh story has been presented in a new way by blending in commercial elements. Euphoria will stand out as the best film in Bhumika garu's career. Sara Arjun is the soul of this movie," the young producer said, adding that Euphoria will touch everyone's heart.
Actress Likhitha said that she pursued modeling while studying MBBS and even won the Femina Miss India title. "However, my family was not initially supportive of me entering films. I convinced them by mentioning Gunasekhar garu’s name. It was a pleasure acting alongside Bhumika garu and Gautham Menon garu. I played a character named Amrutha, and there are many surprises in this role," she shared.
Actor Vignesh Gavireddy said that his parents have watched Euphoria and they are extremely proud of him. "When I told people that I was working with Gunasekhar garu, the respect I received from my friends and relatives increased a lot," he added.
Euphoria, with music by Kaala Bhairava, will head to theatres on February 6.
