A rumour has gone out that Aamir Khan regrets doing the climax cameo in Superstar Rajinikanth's Coolie. In an interview with Rediff, the Bollywood superstar has roundly condemned it as fake news, adding that such false rumours spoil relationships. The fake statement has been widely amplified by social media. A post on X has reached more than half a million users.
"I have never said anything like this. Am I the kind of person to make such cheap statements?" Aamir Khan asked.
There is no truth in the rumour that Aamir Khan's superhero movie with director Lokesh Kanagaraj has been shelved. "That project is very much on," the Sitaare Zameen Par actor confirmed.
Aamir Khan added that he holds the highest regard for Rajinikanth.
