Sithara Entertainments recently announced a film titled Badass. Starring Siddu Jonnalagadda in an unprecedented role, the film will be shockingly dark.
Siddu today stated that the scenes in Badass will push all limits and will subject the viewer to shock. "It will be the darkest film ever made in the history of Telugu cinema," the Jack actor remarked, adding that Badass will cross all boundaries.
When the movie was announced, a hint was thrown about the nature of the movie. "You have seen heroes. You have seen villains. But this one’s not here to fit into your labels!" announced the production house, building anticipation. They further teased, "Make way for STARBOY Siddu as Badass. This time no mercy. He’s going to set the screens on fire." And producer S Naga Vamsi shared a poster with this quote: "If middle finger were a man." Ravikanth Perepu, who has previously directed Kshanam, Krishna And His Leela and Bubblegum, is wielding the megaphone. The 2026 release is yet to commence its shoot.
