This Friday (November 21st), three Telugu movies are scheduled to hit the cinemas. In this section, we tell you what they are about.
Raju Weds Rambai: Starring newcomers Akhil and Tejaswini, the raw and rustic village-based love story is expected to have a moving climax. As per director Saailu Kompati, the story is based on a shocking incident. The good news is that, as per producer Venu Udugula, it's not a tragedy. A grand statement the makers have made about their movie is that it will be as memorable as Premisthe, 7G Brindavan Colony, Baby, and Sairat (Marathi). Well, what would make a non-tragic love story so moving and memorable? We shall discover it soon!
12A Railway Colony: This one stars Allari Naresh, who is returning to what looks like a genre movie. A gripping thriller where residents of a railway colony uncover dark secrets amid mysterious events, this one is touted to be full of suspenseful twists and strong performances. Dr. Anil Vishwanath of Polimera fame is its showrunner. So, keep your hopes high!
Premante: This one is a relationship comedy drama with Suma Kanakala playing a funny cop given to encouraging incompatible couples to part ways. Priyadarshi, after the super-successful Court this year, plays a husband. He is joined by actress Anandhi, who plays his wife.
Other releases: Raj Tarun's comedy entertainer Paanch Minar is also hitting the cinemas on November 21st. Chiranjeevi's sole cowboy movie, Kodama Simham, is up for re-release.
