'Dasara' is heading to OTT less than a month after its theatrical release. The Nani-starrer will stream on Netflix from April 27.
"It’s time to take out the fireworks because #Dasara is coming early this year! Dasara is coming to Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada on the 27th of April! (sic)," Netflix tweeted out on Thursday.
Directed by newcomer Srikanth Odela, the film had a pan-India release. What is 'Dasara' about? The story is set in a village near Singareni in Telangana. Dharani (Nani), Vennela (Keerthy Suresh), and Suri (Dheekshith Shetty) are childhood friends. Suri and Vennela are in love with each other. Sarpanch Nambi (Shine Tom Chacko), meanwhile, develops a rivalry with Sai Kumar's character in the arena of politics. An unexpected element kicks in when the political feud in the village results in unspeakable suffering for the three friends.
