Getup Srinu of 'Jabardasth' fame has been roped in to play the male lead in 'Raju Yadav', Krishnamachari, who has worked as an associate director on 'Needhi Naadhi Oke Katha'. Produced by Prashanth Reddy of Varunavi Creations, the film has Ankitha Karath playing the female lead.
The muhurat shot was given by director Saagar K Chandra. Venu Udugula, producer Sudhakar Cherukuri and others also attended the event.
"Our film's story is set in the backdrop of a town. We are going to make it organically. It's a non-commercial film that will be close to reality. The hopes, anxieties and relationships in a family will be the highlight of the movie," the makers said. Getup Srinu, the director hopes, will give his best. "He is moulding his body language to suit his character and the story. You will see him in a new angle in our film," the director said.
Harshavardhan Rameshwar of 'Arjun Reddy', 'Kabir Singh', 'Saakshyam' fame is the music director. The regular shoot will take place from December first week.
Anand Chakrapani, Roopa Lakshmi, Unnathi, Uttara Prashant, Pawan Ramesh and Santosh Raj are part of the cast. Cinematography is by Sairam Uday. Editing is by Bonthala Nageshwar Reddy.
