Prabhas' Spirit is scheduled to be released in theatres on March 5, 2027. This Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is going to be an international release, as it will be released in three foreign languages (Mandarin, Korean, Japanese) as well.
Mahesh Babu's Varanasi is scheduled to be released in the Summer of 2027. As per the buzz in the industry, SS Rajamouli and his producers (KL Naranaya and SS Karthikeya) have zeroed in on March 25 in consultation with distributors.
If Varanasi and Spirit stick to these dates, it will be a colossal month of sorts. However, in the age of multi-lingual releases, especially those that involve Prabhas and Rajamouli, nothing can be assured.
Spirit and Varanasi are among the most-anticipated Indian movies under production. The fans of Prabhas and Mahesh Babu expect them to be defining. Expectations from Varanasi are higher, considering its humongous scale. It will be an event film of sorts.
