Released in theatres on January 9, The Raja Saab stars Prabhas in the role of a loving grandson and a compulsive romantic who falls in love with a Nun. Director Maruthi's film is produced on a gigantic scale by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad of People Media Factory.
As per the makers, the horror-fantasy comedy minted a whopping Rs 183 Cr on the first weekend. "A festival treat turned BOX OFFICE CARNAGE. Our movie crosses 183+ Crores Worldwide Gross in just 3 days. Gears up for the Sankranthi festive week with massive audience love," the team stated.
From today (Monday), The Raja Saab is playing in theatres with regular ticket prices. A trimmed/re-edited version, with added footage of Prabhas' old man avatar, is showing.
"The stamina of The Raja Saab will be known only in the coming days. I am happy that some episodes are being discussed and debated. Don't decide the result prematurely," director Maruthi said at Saturday's Blockbuster Meet.
