Jatadhara Trailer: Makers say fear will linger on after story ends

Jatadhara is scheduled for a November 7th release in Telugu and Hindi. The bi-lingual has a balanced cast, with the male lead drawn from Tollywood and the antagonist drawn from Bollywood. Sudheer Babu plays an enthusiast in the supernatural phenomena, while Sonakshi Sinha plays a demoness. Besides Divya Khossla and Shilpa Shirodkar (in a primary role as important as that of the antagonist), the film has Srinivas Avasarala and Subhalekha Sudhakar in other roles.

Director Venkat Kalyan has stated that the supernatural thriller is a "journey into our cultural underbelly where myths breathe and darkness listens". While this description is interesting enough, what Sonakshi has said about Jatadhara is even more specific. The fear evoked by the film, she remarked, will linger on after the story ends.

Sudheer Babu might have been seen in a modish dance number, but his character is someone that "stands where the forgotten evil rises". The divine mystery also takes the form of a "treasure hunt" story element.

Jatadhara is produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Prerna Arora, Shilpa Singhal, and Nikhil Nanda.
