Mithra Mandali is slated to be released in theatres on October 16. Its Trailer launch event was held today.
The core team behind the recent blockbuster, Little Hearts, attended the event as guests. Director Sai Marthand endorsed the trailer and described Priyadarshi as an inspiration. "After Court, he should continue his hit streak with Mithra Mandali. His character in Pelli Choopulu is the inspiration behind Jai Krishna's character in Little Hearts," Marthand said.
Actor Mouli Tanuj said that the trailer was very good. "Priyadarshi garu, Prasad Behara anna, Vishnu Oi anna and others on this stage are an inspiration. I have been watching Niharika NM's videos since my Intermediate days. I thank Bunny Vasu garu for having us over for this event," the budding comedy actor said.
Producer-Director Aditya Hasan of Little Hearts fame said, "There is a great social satire angle in the movie. It will be fun if you understand the subtext. Niharika's character is a full-length one. The jokes have landed perfectly well in the trailer. Priyadarshi is a source of inspiration to so many newcomers. It will be great to see Prasad Behara on the big screen. October 16th is when Mithra Mandali will be hitting the cinemas. Please watch it in theatres. Vijayender S garu is going to become a big name."
Producer Bunny Vasu said that content alone speaks at the box office. "When a small movie chooses an important date (like Diwali), competition with other movies is inevitable. Films ideally shouldn't release during Karthika Masam. That's why we chose Diwali even though it was evident that competition would be a foregone conclusion. All my publicity efforts are around attracting youths to theatres. It's they who put out statuses and social media posts if they like a movie. The pre-release event of Mithra Mandali will be held on October 11th. Anudeep KV, Kalyan, and Aditya Hasan have been working on the post-production for the past one week only because director Vijay is their friend. These days, social media promotions are significant. Artists who can grab this are valuable. They help us in promotions. Anudeep's scene is going to be extremely hilarious," he said.
Actor Priyadarshi said that Mithra Mandali's single-point agenda is the generation of laughter. "The variety and fun vibe evident in the trailer will be seen in the entire film. Although Jathi Ratnalu is what we took inspiration from, the comedy content is going to be new. While there is a satirical point in the movie, that's not all there is to it. Mithra Mandali falls back on the evergreen buddy comedy genre. The humour is not only strong but also sensible. Comparisons with Jathi Ratnalu will go away once you watch Mithra Mandali, which is a different film in its own right," he added.
Niharika NM said that a debutante like her couldn't have asked for a better, more versatile character. While the trailer might give the impression that her character is cracked, there is more to her. "I am a director's actor. Whatever you are going to see in my performance is entirely the director's take," she added.
