Peddi, as of now, is slated to hit the cinemas on 27 March 2026. However, the latest gossip in the town is that the movie won't be able to meet the deadline.
As per the postponement narrative, director Buchi Babu Sana is seeking more time to finish the pending portions. Mythri Movie Makers and Vriddhi Cinemas are looking at a late Summer 2026 release, if this version is anything to go by. If true, the development negates the narrative that Peddi is one of the few pan-Indian movies that had been completing its production works at the desired pace. With Sukumar involved, you shouldn't be surprised that the film is not adhering to its announced date.
Another version is that Peddi is very much coming out in the last week of March at any cost. Ram Charan wants to make sure that his movie is the first major Summer release from Tollywood.
Peddi co-stars Janhvi Kapoor and Shivarajkumar. AR Rahman's Chikiri Chikiri was released recently.
