'Kanguva' Editor Nishadh Yusuf found dead

Nishadh Yusuf, who has edited the upcoming release 'Kanguva', is no more. "His body was found in his apartment in Panampilly Nagar in Kochi at around 2 am. No cause of death has been announced by the police yet," a national media house reported.

At the time of writing, there was no update from the police department. The Malayalam film industry is in a state of shock over the untimely death of the budding talent.

Nishadh won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Editor in 2022 for the film 'Thallumaala'. '1001 Nunakal', 'Chaaver', 'Saudi Vellakka', 'Operation Java', 'Adios Amigo' and 'One' are some of his other movies.

Condoling Nishadh Yusuf's death, Studio Green wrote, "We are deeply shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of our beloved editor. Your talent, dedication and vision were invaluable assets to our team and your absence leaves us with a profound void. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends during this difficult time."
