Kamal Haasan and director Shankar are gearing up for the release of 'Indian 2' on a big scale. The film will head to theatres on June 13 this year.
The vigilante drama co-stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth (seen last year in 'Chinna'), Rakul Preet Singh, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani, and Nedumudi Venu.
The film's teaser is expected to be out later this month. A grand trailer launch event will be held in May.
Lyca Productions is planning to release 'Indian 2' on a massive scale in Tamil and Telugu. It will find audiences in Hindi if the content is not simplistic. Comparisons with 'Jawan' will be made by the Bollywood audience if there are thematic similarities.
Shankar also awaits the release of Ram Charan's 'Game Changer'. Recently, producer Dil Raju said that the release date has been decided upon. "It is up to the director to give a green signal for the announcement," he added.
