Deepika Padukone and her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, will appear on Koffee With Karan soon. A few clips from the already-shot talk show episode have gone viral on the Internet.
In a clip, the 'Jawan' actress is heard suggesting that she was in a situationship with Ranveer (back in 2015 or so). She says that she was seeing a few other men although, in her mind, she was committed to Ranveer. The particular line has come to haunt Deepika, with Netizens explicitly accusing her of being disloyal to Ranveer (although nothing of that sort is implied what what she says on the show).
From what Deepika says in the video, the duo was in an open relationship for some time before entering into a committed relationship, self-styled relationship experts are arguing on social media. Conservative individuals are busy judging the 'Padmaavat' actress by saying that she kept Ranveer as a "backup" option. "I am wondering how this even works....like she was seeing other guys but was mentally committed to Ranveer. What utter rubbish these folks come up with and people idolize these people!" a Netizen wondered.
As far as supporters and indifferent folks are concerned, what happened in the lives of Deepika and Ranveer is for them to worry about, not the rest of us.
