A short film from one of the country's most in-demand filmmakers. Yes, you heard it right! Lokesh Kanagaraj, who recently directed Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo', is working on a short film that will tell the story of the origin of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. 'Vikram', 'Rolex' and 'Kaithi' are part of this Universe. 'Kaithi 2', 'Vikram 2' and more will be made under the banner of LCU.
Speaking at an event today, actor Narain of 'Kaithi' fame said that he and Lokesh are working on the 10-minute short that will reveal where the LCU all started. The plan is to release the short before 'Kaithi 2' comes out in theatres in 2025 or so.
The idea is to keep the audience informed about the intricacies of the LCU.
Already, the LCU characters conceived by Lokesh have become hugely popular among the movie buffs out there. Dilli, Vikram, Amar, Rolex and Leo have been widely talked about.
