'Baby' proves Allu Aravind is superior to most young producers

Often, there's a common belief that as producers and directors age, they may lose their ability to accurately gauge the audience's tastes. This phenomenon extends beyond filmmakers and producers; even film critics tend to lose touch with the audience's preferences as they reach their late 40s. A prominent film critic once dismissed 'Nuvve Kavali' (2000) as a shallow and empty film, yet it went on to become a timeless classic.

Allu Aravind stands out as one of the exceptional producers who surpasses many young producers in his ability to grasp the audience's preferences. The tremendous triumph of 'Baby,' a love story he wholeheartedly believed in, serves as concrete proof of Aravind's profound understanding and maturity in the field of filmmaking.

Even before the film's release, Aravind stated publicly that the film will become a cult hit. Right from the start (probably since 2020), the Geetha Arts supremo thoroughly backed the movie. Speculation is that Aravind actually has got financial stakes in 'Baby'. He invested crores in the film's making because he knew the audience have been hungry to watch a teen love story with a heavy climax.

Aravind's son, Allu Arjun, once gloated that his father set up a Telugu-only OTT (Aha Video) when none in India could have dared to execute such an idea. Of course, Aha shows Aravind's appetite to take risks more than his intelligence.

In many ways, Aravind continues to exhibit superior intelligence. He is also planning to produce the most expensive Indian movie ever (based on the Ramayana) in association with others.
