Complete Actor Mohanlal's period drama 'Malaikottai Vaaliban' is slated to be released in theatres later this year. Its First Look, featuring the leading man, is a blockbuster hit already. Released on Friday, it features the legendary Mollywood actor in a fierce avatar.
"And now, the wait has a face! Presenting to you the First Look of #MalaikottaiVaaliban! Keep cheering us on our journey to bring this movie to life (sic)," the actor wrote on social media, sharing the poster.
Director Lijo Jose Pellissery's film is currently under production; it went on the floors on January 18. Pivotal portions have been shot in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer.
Several months after the project was announced, only its genre is known: period drama. The makers have quashed the reports pertaining to the film's rumoured story. Its cast members include Sonalee Kulkarni and Hareesh Peradi, although their names have to be made official as yet.
Produced by John & Mary Creative, with Century Films, Maxlab Cinemas and Entertainments, and Amen Movie Monastery, the film is penned by PS Rafeeque. Prashant Pillai is going to compose the music. Madhu Neelakandan is its cinematographer.
