Nari Nari Naduma Murari, fronted by Sharwanand, is a family entertainer co-starring Samyuktha Menon as a female lead. In this interview, the Bimbisara, Virupaksha and Bheemla Nayak heroine talks about the movie, which is slated to be released in theatres on January 14.
I am very happy that the film is releasing for Sankranthi, which increases the probability of a positive reception. This is a very clean comedy entertainer and a perfect festival title. When director Ram Abbaraju narrated this story to me, I found it beautiful. As it is, comedy films are something I enjoy a lot shooting for and watching.
My character is extremely prominent. When there are two heroines, the audience naturally assumes it’s a love triangle. But NNNM is not like that. The director has written this story with a very unique point, which you have to experience on the screen. My character is strong. Added to that, there is a lot of excellent situational comedy (involving Sharwanand and the other heroine, Sakshi Vaidya). I did my own dubbing for this movie and enjoyed it a lot.
I felt the same level of excitement after completing the film as I did when I signed it. I watched the movie during dubbing, and it turned out wonderfully. Sharwanand is an actor with excellent timing. He is very supportive and helpful. Working with him was a very good experience. The roles played by VK Naresh and Sathya will also entertain everyone. Sakshi and I have some really good combination scenes together. I have a lot of respect for her. The way she prepares for every scene is excellent. She works very hard.
Even with so much competition and so many films releasing, the director doesn’t feel any pressure. He is always very confident. I have never seen him angry. He is a director with great clarity.
Anil Sunkara sir has immense passion for cinema. He is the main pillar of the film. He supports everyone. I truly wish for a big success. Since it is a full-on entertainer, the shooting experience was a cool one. The mood of the film spills over into the set. Every scene is fun-filled.
So far, I have done a variety of roles. Every film of mine has something different. I want to play all kinds of characters. I also want to do biopics, and I’m interested in doing comedy roles as well.
My upcoming film with Puri Jagannadh sir is fantastic. No matter how much I say, it won’t be enough. I thoroughly enjoyed the acting and the shooting process. I am also shooting for Black Gold, whose production will be wrapped up in February.
