Actress Mehreen Pirzada recently opted for egg freezing, which is the process of freezing one or more unfertilized eggs to save them for future use. A section of the media has reported the same as Mehreen getting pregnant. The actress has threatened legal action against the peddlers of fake news.
"For freezing eggs, a girl doesn’t need to be pregnant. My post was to educate such people and l dared to share a very personal decision for social awareness. As a responsible celebrity, my aim was to make aware child-deprived couples and girls who wish to focus on their careers/make the right decisions to get married and plan a baby when they are fully ready to become responsible mothers," Mehreen wrote on social media.
She further wrote, "It hurts that such irresponsible people who call themselves reporters have stooped to such a low level. I demand a public apology and immediate removal of the news posted by those media houses," she added.
