For the unversed, Praneeth is known among Netizens more as a content creator than as a budding artist. He roasts Telugu movies regularly and has made foes in Tollywood. The fans of top actors like Mahesh Babu troll him for his frank views.
In the latest instance, he has embarrassed himself by streaming a video in which he and two others sexualized a father-daughter relationship in the name of pedo 'jokes' and incest humour. The so-called humour is so grotesque that it borders on the uncivilized. Scores of social media users have tagged the Telangana police, calling for Praneeth's immediate arrest under the POCSO Act. Incidentally, he is the son of an IAS officer.
Meanwhile, Praneeth has pulled down the objectionable portions. "Edited out the problematic part from the video. Unconditionally and unambiguously apologetic about the lapse in judgment. As a creator, my attempt is always to put a smile. Unfortunately, this time I have crossed the line between what is dark and what is distasteful," he wrote on X.
