Rama Banam' will hit the cinemas on May 5. Speaking at the pre-release event of the film, actor Gopichand predicted that the film will be a box-office hit. He specially thanked Nandamuri Balakrishna for christening the film a few months ago. He described producers TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibotla as sweet producers.

Speaking on the occasion, Gopichand further said, "Bhupathi Raja's story packs family-friendly elements with commercial values. Sriwass' treatment is winsome. Dimple Hayathi has a bright future. This is my first film with Jagapathi Babu garu as a brother since 'Lakshyam'. With him, it feels like I am acting with my real brother. It was fun working with Khushbu Sundar garu."

Comedy scenes involving Gopichand and Ali are touted to be a highlight. Ali said that the producer of the film is Lakshmi Putrudu, while the director is Saraswathi Putrudu. "Gopichand is as young as he was in his early films," Ali said.

Kona Venkat said that the energy in the auditorium convinced him that 'Rama Banam' will be a sure-shot hit. "The title doesn't indicate just a weapon. It denotes aim. Gopichand is a believable actor. If he emotes sentimentally, we feel like shedding a tear. He is a very sincere actor," Kona Venkat, who recently wrote 'Waltair Veerayya', said.

Director Maruthi said 'Rama Banam' is an emotional story. "The trailer looks so promising. I hope this family entertainer rains money on the stakeholders. This is a perfect film meant for the family audience," Maruthi said.

Sriwass, who directed the movie, said, "It is training today during the pre-release event. I see it as a good omen, as it usually rains on Sri Rama Navami. Positive people have come together for this project. Gopichand garu is my lucky hero. We have been described as a hat-trick combination. Commercial films are usually attuned to the trends of the time. We kept a tab on the changing tastes of the audience during the making. I thank my writing team for being always supportive and awake."

Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry said that 'Rama Banam' is going to be festive in its spirit. "This film will be indefatigable just like the arrow aimed by Lord Ram," he added.
