One roundtable, five damaged images!

Usually, an interview can damage the image of just one interviewee at worst. But journalist Prema's latest offering has proved that a roundtable discussion has the calibre to efficiently damage the image of five interviewees at a time. We are talking about the Roundtable hosted by Prema with Venkatesh Maha and four other filmmakers as guests.

Thanks to Venkatesh Maha's verbal diarrhea on Prema's roundtable conversation (if you are unware, the 'Care Of Kancharapalem' maker ridiculed 'KGF' and laughed at the audience for making the film a hit), five directors, including himself, have been mercilessly trolled by Netizens.

Nandini Reddy's 2013 rom-com 'Jabardasth', which was heavily inspired by 'Band Baaja Baaraat' (Hindi), has been mentioned by Netizens. "That film was like a freemake. 'Ala Modalaindi' is her only memorable film so far. Even 'Oh Baby' was an adaptation. Why is she mocking commercial cinema of the 'KGF' kind?" Netizens are asking.

Shiva Nirvana, also found laughing with Venkatesh Maha's rants, failed as a commercial filmmaker with Nani's unbearable 'Tuck Jagadish'.

Mohankrishna Indraganti, who regards himself as some sort of a maverick despite his bumpy track record, failed with the outdated thriller 'V'.

Vivek Athreya has made three respectable films (read 'Mental Madhilo', 'Brochevarevarura' and 'Ante Sundaraniki') and he has been trolled the least. But being in company with Maha and others has affected him as well for now.
