Yash Raj Films is all set to venture into South Indian film industry with the Telugu/Tamil remake of ‘Band Baajaa Baarat’. Nani has already been confirmed to do the male lead character in both versions. It’s also feasible that Vani Kapoor is being considered to play the female lead role alongside
Nani in Telugu and Tamil as well. Vani Kapoor is making her acting debut through a Bollywood film ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, which is ready for release shortly. Gokul Krishna will wield megaphone for this project.
Nandini Reddy used the basic plot of ‘Band Baajaa Baaraat’ in her previous film ‘Jabardast’ starring Siddharth and Samantha. But the film failed to impress the audience. But Yash Raj Films is leaving no stones unturned for the Telugu/Tamil remake project.
