Khaleej Times reported what happened before Sridevi passed. The actress was alone in her room. She was in Dubai for a family wedding. Sridevi decided to stay while her husband Boney Kapoor returned to India.
On Saturday evening Boney surprised Sridevi by returning back to Dubai. He woke her up and spoke for 15 minutes. The couple decided to have dinner and Sridevi went to the wash room to get ready.
When she took 15 minutes in the washroom, Boney knocked the door. There was no response and Boney broke open the door to find Sridevi lying in the bathtub full of water. He tried to revive her and failed. He then called his friend and police were informed at 9PM. The police and paramedics rushed to the site, but she was pronounced dead.
