Arjun Kapoor has been roped in to play the lead in the remake of Tollywood's blockbuster film 'Arjun Reddy'. Initially Shahid Kapoor was the number one contender for this role. Then it went to Arjun Kapoor. He was involved in getting the remake rights along with producer Murad Khetani.
Vijay Devarakonda played the lead role in the Telugu film. Shalini Pandey was the leading lady. The makers will announce other details very soon.
