Like the audio companies for Telugu films, a new audio company has been established for independent music. On the auspicious occasion of Ugadi, a new audio company named ‘Indie Winds’ was launched on the hands of prominent director K Raghavendra Rao. The man behind the music of ‘Adi Shankara’, renowned flutist Nag Srivatsa aka Flute Nagaraju is the founder, while Mani Nagaraju and Lalith Talluri are handling the management responsibilities.

‘Indie Winds Records’ founder Flute Nagaraju said, “In my opinion, there is no perfect platform for the independent music like the cinema music has. With the intention to provide perfect platform of the aspiring young music artists, we have started this independent music company. Darsakendruku K Raghavendra Rao garu is our well-wisher, guru and a good friend. We consider it as a good sign that our audio company ‘Indie Winds Records’ has been launched on the hands of K Raghavendra Rao.”

“‘First album on our Indie Winds Records’ ‘Trivenu’ will be launched on April 15 in Delhi. Indian Bansuri player Flute Maestro Rupak Kulkarni and western flutist Henry Tornier are jointly organising ‘Trivenu’ to set a new trend in fusion music,” he added.
