Suraksha - Friends of Police - A Drive by JCI Hyderabad Deccan, Hyderabad

Traffic police help ease traffic all day long so we can commute safely while they stand in the scorching sun and heat- without any protection.

To show our gratitude towards them and their dedication, we the Junior Jaycees of JCI Hyderabad Deccan have organised a drive: "SURAKSHA - Friends of police" during which we will be gifting basic necessities like sunscreen lotion, buttermilk, talcum powder, wet tissues, glucose sachets, toffees, soothing balm, etc to them in a sturdy and portable back pack, so that they can beat the heat this summer and continue their proficient services.

During this we covered different places by midday so we could help maximum number of policemen before the heat was at its peak. The token of appreciation was well received and their joy was reflected on their faces when our members distributed the goodies. We hope to continue services such as these and give back to our society. In a sentence - We want to help those who help others.
