Kingfisher Ultra Hyderabad International Fashion Week Season 4 (Day 3)

The Day 3 of the Kingfisher ULTRA Hyderabad International Fashion Week continued on a high note as local and international talent came together. Design house Mehbaz played with tradition, Hyderabad’s favorite model – Sadhna Singh raised her voice against rape and international designer Sanjana Jon took up the cause of ‘Stop Violence against women’.

Design house Mehbaz, known for their rich Indian silhouettes did what they always do best – blend the traditional and the contemporary. Heavy embroideries embellished the silhouettes and innovative textures added an interesting design element. The stunning Srishti Rana added glamour quotient to the show as she walked down the ramp in an eclectic silhouette. The suave Shreedhar Rao too made heads turn as he walked down the ramp as a showstopper for Mehbaz.

The curiosity around the winner of the Kingfisher Supermodels 2 show on NDTV Good Times reached fever high as the images of the winner – Aastha Pokharel along with other participants of the show were unveiled by Gurpreet Singh, Assistant Vice-President, Marketing, at United Breweries Ltd. and Bollywood actor Meera Chopra. Aastha will get a chance to be featured in the legendary Kingfisher Calendar 2015 besides four other stunning models. The contestants of Kingfisher Supermodels-2 were captured on lens by photographer Vivek Gundavaram.

Hyderabad’s heartthrob Sadhna Singh took up the cause ‘Stop Rape Against Women’. Ensuring women’s safety has been one of the biggest global concerns and a host of stars from various walks of life including actors Rajesh Khattar, Satyam Rajesh walked the ramp expressing their solidarity for the cause.

The grand finale designer New York based Sanjana Jon dedicated her collection to the cause of “Stop violence against women”. The renowned designer was inspired by radiating golden light that represents youth, womanhood and joy. Her collection was a true reflection of gorgeous contours of femininity, buoyancy and fluidity with its delicate interplay of textures and vibrant colours in alluring silhouettes. Sanjana showcased an exquisite amalgamation of western and Indian wear, leaving the crowd yearning for more. A host of celebrated actors & glitterati including Bollywood actor Nisha Kothari ……….. & more sizzled the ramp with their glamorous presence carrying the underlying message with great élan.

#KFULTRA Show Stopper, a platform for people to live the experience of a showstopper right from perfect makeup to scintillating designer ensembles, brought two young consumers on to the ramp at Sanjana Jon’s show. The winners Priyanaka Vekkalanka & Zahid Khan glittered as they sashayed down the ramp radiating an aura of elegance and style.
