Barely a week after its release the unit of director Nidhi Prasad's Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw held a success meet of the film on 21st November at the Film Nagar Cultural Club. The film's cast and crew including Rajendra Prasad, Nidhi Prasad, Chakri, Praveen, Venu Madhav, Kondavalasa, Benarji, Ram Jagan, Sudarshan, Kadambari Kiran and Kandikonda were present on the occasion.

"After making BLBD I realized how difficult it is to make comedy movies" director Nidhi Prasad said "and it was even more challenging to bring to screen director Priya Darshan's script. I would also like to thank Rajendra Parasd who not only acted well in the movie but also helped to co ordinate behind the sets. And also thanks to my buyers especially Kondala Reddy, Aadi Narayana (Guntur), Babji (Vizag) and N.V. Prasad (Ceded) who bought the film's rights based on their trust in me. I wish that more and more buyers would encourage small budget films".

"BLBD's success is due to the good talk it garnered within a week of its release. This big a hit in such a short time is my second after Satyam two years ago" music director Chakri said and thanked director Nidhi Prasad.

"A film needs just a day to garner good mouth publicity if it is good and that is what happened with BLBD" actor Rajendra Prasad said "BLBD has been appreciated so much that even on week days the film is running to house full shows with people buying tickets in black. Nidhi Prasad is very committed to what he does. The changes he made to bring in the nativity were very good and essential for the script. He delivered a full length comedy flick that rose to people's expectations. I am very proud of him and the fact that we have another director in the league of L.V.Prasad, Jandhyala and Vamsi".
