The trailer launch event of Raja Goutam and Chandini Chowdary starrer ‘Manu’ was held at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad on August 12. Crowd funded film ‘Manu’ is written and directed by Phanindra Narsetti, who is a short filmmaker. Nirvana Cinemas, US film distributors is presenting the film.
Speaking at the trailer launch event, Raja Goutam said, “The film is three years journey. Before this, I have watched many short films and met short film directors. I went through nearly 40 to 50 scripts. In this process, I have watched a short film titled ‘Madhuram’. I was very much impressed and appreciated director Phani. He narrated the script of ‘Manu’ for 15 minutes and I was impressed. The film was funded by 115 people. I understand how responsible it is. I am thankful to everyone who supported us. Heroine Chandini Chowdary is very supportive. Her commitment and dedication is superb. She did perfect justice to Neela role. The film is releasing on September 7.”
Heroine Chandini Chowdary said, “I have been waiting for this moment. Trailer will impress everyone for sure. The film ‘Manu’ will be much more impressive than the trailer. Director Phani has good vision. He trusted me and given me this opportunity. I played a wonderful role named ‘Neelu’.”
Director Phanindra Narsetti said, “This an emotional moment for me. I am thankful to each and everyone who supported in making the film ‘Manu’. Best team has worked for this film. Nirvana Cinemas planning to release ‘Manu’ in a wide range.”
