Audio launch event of ‘Geetha Govindam’ was held in a grand level on Sunday i.e. August 29 in Hyderabad. Stylish Star Allu Arjun graced the event as chief guest and launched the audio CDs. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna as hero and heroine respectively, ‘Geetha Govindam’ is being made under GA2 Arts banner with Allu Aravind as presenter. Parasuram is directing the film with Bunny Vasu as producer. The film is scheduled to release on August 15.
Speaking at the audio launch event, Allu Arjun said, “I have attended this event only for the director Parasuram. The support that I get from Parasuram in building up my career is equal or more that I get from my father. I have listened to this script Geetha Govindam two years back and recently I have watched the film. Vijay and Rashmika have rocked in the film. The film is very impressive. Gopi Sunder garu has given extraordinary music. I have seen Parasuram as assistant director for the film ‘Parugu’. Now, he raised as director. I wish Geetha Govindam will stand out as a best movie in his career. After watching ‘Arjun Reddy’, I felt that it would be nice if Vijay gets award for his performance. I am happy that he received it. Our Tollywood has good performers. Vijay is one of the very few great performers of Tollywood. I wish all the best to everyone in the team.”
During the audio launch event, Vijay Deverakonda spoke about the controversy that ‘What The F’ song crooned by himself has received. He also asked the organisers to play the videos on the screen that have hit social media sites after the release of the song. Reacting to the several trolling videos and memes and comments, Vijay Deverakonda said, “I thought that the song crooned by me will become sensation. But it turned out in another way. I understood that my vocals and the lyrics didn’t go well with the music lovers. It was the director Parasuram and producer who insisted me to lend my voice to the song. New version of the song will be released soon.”
Allu Aravind said, “When I was doing ‘Srirasthu Subhamasthu’, Parasuram has narrated me this script. Vijay is a gentleman. Rashmika has rocked in the movie. Parasuram talent need no introduction. Gopi Sunder has given wonderful music. Bunny Vasu has perfectly handled the production department. Geetha Govindam came out wonderfully. I am extremely confident that the film will become big success.”
Bunny Vasu said, “Parasuram has narrated the script to Bunny and me. Bussy suggested me that after ‘100% Love’, this will become hit movie for me. He also insisted me not to leave the script. When I was looking for the apt hero for this film, Vijay Deverakonda name struck in my mind. Pelli Choopulu was released at that time. Vijay too was very much impressed and given his nod. After Geetha Govindam was started, ‘Arjun Reddy’ was released. After watching the film, I predicted that Vijay will become a star hero. I am sure Rashmika will earn good name through this film. Thanks to Gopi Sunder garu for providing wonderful music to this film.”
